I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming onsen hotel located next to a serene lake. the spacious family room with western beds and Japanese style bedding was perfect for my needs. the room boasted a stunning view of the lake and a beautiful Japanese garden, which was especially breathtaking during the snowfall. the onsen facilities were impeccable, with a pleasant indoor onsen and a refreshing outdoor one. the hotel staff, particularly the manager, were incredibly helpful and accommodating. the crab dinner offered great value with two delicious crabs, one hot and one cold.
The language barrier at the reception, as some of the staff had limited English proficiency.

Stayed here for Easter and enjoyed the beautiful view of the lake and the scenic cliff area of the Japan Sea. The spacious family room had comfortable duvets and good air-conditioning system with digital controls for warm and cool air. The dinner menu had a lot of options and the crab dinner was amazing and great value with two crabs, one hot and one cold.
The onsen experience was a bit disappointing as there was no towel when I went after dinner at 10 pm, had to go back to the room to get my own towel. , the outdoor onsen was a bit cold at the showering corner.

Great scenic view and beautiful Japanese garden next to the lake, especially when it was snowing. the crab dinner was worth trying, great value with two crabs, one hot and one cold. the location was perfect as it only took 30 minutes drive to reach the scenic cliff area of Japan Sea.
The room had a hard pillow, which made it difficult to sleep, and there were no towels provided for the Onsen when I went late at night. the indoor onsen was good, but the outdoor one was a bit cold at the showering area.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The spacious family room with two western beds and room for Japanese style beds on the floor was perfect for my family. The air-conditioning system was great, providing warm and cool air with easy-to-use digital controls. And the view of the lake from our room was breathtaking, especially during the snowfall. The hotel's beautiful Japanese garden next to the lake added to the ambiance. Additionally, the crab dinner was a must-try, offering two delicious crabs, one hot and one cold. The menu for dinner had a good variety, so opting for the half board was definitely worth it. Lastly, the location next to the lake was convenient for exploring the scenic cliff area of the Japan Sea, which was only a 30-minute drive away.
Nothing, everything was great!
